Welcome to this weeks issue of Author Tips.
An exciting week it has been! Never a dull moment on the Internet!
As I am writing this, I am waiting for the cable guy. You know, the folks that have improved their customer service. Instead of the 4-hour window of time during the middle of my workday that I had to stick around the house for them to arrive, I now have a 3-hour window. Yehaw!
AND, since I’m out of my office most days, I needed to pick a date where that three-hour window was most convenient for me. Now there is an improvement! Used to be you were told which day and time block you HAD to be home.
Now at least you can pick the day and the time block. I guess that’s improvement.
Speaking of improvement, what are you doing to improve yourself and your business (online or not)?
It’s the end of the year; the doorstep of a new year. This time of the year is when I really pay attention to all the motivational speaker ezines I get. They’re all telling me to review my year past, plan for the year to come. Set goals. Get organized. Eliminate clutter. Get Fung Schway (however you spell it) and let the energy flow baby!
Ok. Done. Now what?
Can I test and continue to tinker with my web site search engine optimization? Nope. Growing tired of the low sales conversion from freebie searchers. More to the point, growing tired of waiting a month at a time before I can measure the results of the tinkering. I’m going to stay focused on list building and using the ezine to drive relationships, rapport and sales.
Ok. Then what?
Write more articles? Done. What next?
Work more hours? Doing what? Build another web site? Hmmm…I’ve built 4 this year and all are having varying levels of success.
Ah ha…how about a dose of my own medicine? Yes, I’m writing a new ebook.
Ok, now I’m pumped. A whole new topic. A new subject I’ve learned about this year. Details. Methods. A process. Online. Yes, this one has all the makings……
How am I doing it? Using the Knowledge Download tutorials and FREE info on the site I built!
