Hi:

I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who have sent letters and notes of support relative to my son Buddy. He is in the US Army stationed in Iraq. Specifically, he is at Baghdad International Airport.

I know that because he called his mother last week once again and is alive and well. She relayed the message to me shortly after they talked. He said there is a rumor they may come home next month. That would be consistent with what we are seeing, including the Army 4th I.D. taking over for the US Marines.

For a worrying parent such as myself, that would be welcome news.
