I am a week tardy with delivery of Author
Tips.
I've been dealing with what is turning out
to be a slower than expected shoulder surgery recovery. But
the main distraction for me has been the war in Iraq.
If you are a regular reader of Author Tips,
you know I have a son in Iraq. He is in the 1st Brigade of the
3rd I.D.
Last week, we received a call from him thank
goodness. He is alive and uninjured.
Without getting too far off topic, I can't
even express to you what its like to be a parent of a soldier
who is in the battlefield. The television, print and radio coverage
of this war has created a near 24 hour obsession with trying
to find my
son and keep aware of where his unit is at any given time.
I have not had the ability to write Author
Tips. And to you my reader, I am sorry.
