Thank you for reading Author Tips.

First up, I apologize for the delay in sending Author Tips the last several weeks. The recovery from my shoulder surgery is coming along as expected. It has been difficult to put together the several hours needed to assemble a good ezine.

Secondly, as I mentioned in the last issue, I'm moving the distribution of Author Tips to twice monthly. This represents the first issue with the new schedule.

Next, I've got a bit of a heavy heart as I prepare this.

My eldest son who is 20 years old is, in the US Army and as of 2 weeks ago, located within 10 miles of the Iraqi border in Kuwait. I'll refrain from expressing my opinion about the war and simply say my prayers quietly for my son and his fellow military members.

If you have a relative or friend directly involved with this conflict, may the good Lord take care of your loved ones.
